Export and import of 512 million dollars between Afghanistan and Iran in the first 4 months of the current year
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has said that in the first four months of this year, trade worth 512 million dollars was made between Afghanistan and Iran.
But according to the statistics of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Afghanistan has exported only 6 million dollars during this period.
Hama news agency: Akhundzadeh Abdulsalam Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that Afghanistan’s trade with the Republic of Iran during the first four months of the current year is worth 512 million dollars, of which about 506 million dollars are imports and 6 million dollars are exports.Meanwhile, a number of businessmen say that in order to increase Afghanistan’s exports, it is necessary to provide more facilities out of hand of the Islamic Emirate and Iran at the trajectories.
On the other hand, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment says that Iran is a suitable market for the export of cotton and mines.
Mohammad Yunus Momand, the first deputy of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said that “Iran needs many export items from Afghanistan, including dried fruit, marble and onyx, the tax of which is very high. Iran has not set a preferential impost; the government of Iran should set a preferential tax like Pakistan and China. »
Based on the information of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the level of export and import between Afghanistan and Iran reaches two billion dollars annually and efforts are being made to increase this level to ten billion dollars.
